A tremendous thank you to our returning sponsor of the Youth Fitness Challenge Course opened in 2021 at Colonial Park.
We are thrilled to have Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital step up for ANOTHER three-year sponsorship commitment going through 2026. The challenge course is part of the recent redevelopment of the east end of Colonial Park which is a fitness destination that connects people of all ages and backgrounds to socialize with their family and friends while getting more fit.
About Friends:
The Friends of West University Parks Fund is a volunteer based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising funds for the renovation, development and improvement of parks and green spaces in the neighborhood parks of the City of West University Place. The board is appointed by City Council and raises money through foundation grants, citizens’ bequests, memorials, special events and various other programs and events including partnerships with local businesses.
