Fathers & Flashlights is a FUNdraising family event. It provides an opportunity for fathers and their children to spend some quality time together in the heart of our community. Fathers & Flashlights is open to families zoned to attend West University Elementary school.

Camper Registration Dates:
1. Returning campers in good standing: Wednesday, August 26 at 9:00 am
2. Open registration (new campers): Wednesday, September 2 at 9:00 am
An additional benefit for all underwriters over $1,500 will be a courtesy pre-registration link in advance of Wednesday, Sept. 2 open registration. This event will be sold-out again in 2026, therefore our generous $1,500 and up sponsors will be offered early registration.

F&F 2025
The 2025 annual Fathers & Flashlights urban campout was held on Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9 on the fields surrounding West University Elementary School. In attendance were 500 children, 256 camping parents and 261 volunteer parents helping to execute the event.

F&F 2024
The 2024 annual Fathers & Flashlights urban campout was held on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3 on the fields surrounding West University Elementary School. 552 children and 281 parents camped while over 260 volunteers took part in this cherished neighborhood event.

F&F 2023
The annual Fathers & Flashlights urban campout was held on Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5 on the fields surrounding West University Elementary School. 250 camping parents, 525 children and 242 parent volunteers took part in this unique and cherished neighborhood event.
