Through the generosity of our contributors, Friends of West University Parks Fund, Inc., has raised over $9 million to date to support the renovation, expansion, and improvements of our neighborhood parks and green spaces – a vital part of the community. Join Friends in making this year’s Parks Lovers’ Ball the most successful fundraiser yet. Funds raised through Park Lovers’ Ball 2024 will be applied to West University Place parks.
Who:
Friends of West University Parks, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, annually presents the Park Lovers’ Ball, the group’s largest fundraising event. Established in 1986, Friends serves as the fundraising vehicle for the development, improvement and expansion of parks and green spaces in West University Place.

Over 480 West University Place neighbors and friends gathered for an evening of fun and fundraising at Park Lovers’ Ball, in support of West University Parks on February 11. “A Park for All Seasons”, celebrated that the community parks are enjoyed not only during each season of the year, but also throughout the seasons of our lives. Raising nearly half a million dollars, the 31st annual ball was a sold-out event at the Four Seasons Hotel this year! The atmosphere was nothing short of electrifying, conveying everyone’s excitement to mix and mingle while supporting the park lands within this tight-knit community.

Over 420 West University Place neighbors and friends gathered for an evening of sheer opulence at “The Pearl Gala”, its moniker a nod to the traditional anniversary gift. The 30th annual Park Lovers’ Ball, which raised over $400,000, was a sold-out event this year!
