Park Lovers' Ball 2022

The Park Lovers’ Ball is an opportunity to celebrate our parks and to ensure that we can continue to
preserve, develop and grow these spaces for future generations.

We are so excited to announce the resumption of our annual Park Lovers’ Ball in 2022 after missing 2021.  During these unprecedented times our parks played a key role in many family's lives…they provided a safe space for: exercise, fresh air, engagement while social distancing, and a quiet place to reflect.  Additionally, Parks fulfilled a much-needed emotional outlet for children as a place to: laugh, play, feel a sense of normalcy, and socialize with friends and most importantly helped adults and children alike experience a sense of community.   This last year our parks have never played a more vital role in our daily lives!

Many people and organizations experienced significant financial disruption over the last two years, and our Park Lovers’ Ball and Friends of West University Parks has been similarly impacted.  With limited seating this year and having lost the opportunity to host our premier event last year your partnership means more now than ever!  Thank you for your consideration of adding a little “lagniappe”!
