Thank you to Sara and Chip Edgecomb, Maggie and Dax Garza, and Amanda and J.R. McGee for all of their hard work to make the fifth annual Fathers & Flashlights event the best ever! ! !  $53,813 was raised for West U Parks! 


The annual urban campout took place on the fields surrounding West University Elementary School on October 1 and 2, 2011.  A great time was had by all. 

Campers will enjoyed a smorgasbord of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, rock wall, moon walks, live music, dinner, fun snacks, catch-and-release fishing, star-gazing, over-night camp out and breakfast.

Century Club -- THE FATHERS & FLASHLIGHT'S CENTURY CLUB WAS DEVELOPED AS A RESPONSE TO THE MANY OFFERS FROM FAMILIES LIKE YOURS WANTING TO DO MORE FOR THE EVENT, BUT UNSURE HOW TO DO THAT.

How to Become a Century Club Member - - WITH A $100 DONATION TO FRIENDS added to your registration fee, YOUR FAMILY WILL BECOME A MEMBER OF THE CENTURY CLUB AND WILL BE GIVEN A "FATHERS & FLASHLIGHTS' CENTURY CLUB" SIGN TO ATTACH TO YOUR FATHERS & FLASHLIGHTS' YARD SIGN.  THIS IS AN EXCELLENT WAY TO SHOW YOUR NEIGHBORS THAT YOU SUPPORT OUR PARKS.  YOU WILL THEN BE INVITED TO BRING YOUR YARD SIGN AND YOUR CENTURY CLUB SIGN TO THE CAMPOUT TO DISPLAY OUTSIDE YOUR TENT.
